Great Ormond Street Hospital contacted CBS with strict ergonomic requirements that specialist monitor arms and computer workstations could fulfil. Great Ormond Streets long term aim is to translate research into real benefits towards children’s healthcare. In an aim to help achieve this goal, the ‘Somers Clinical Research Facility’ has recently been opened.
As a priority Great Ormond Street needed the best use of space and a high degree of versatility within the new clinic. As much of the clinical equipment is currently fitted to rooms, space for computer appliances is restricted. Great Ormond Street sought innovative equipment solutions which would work within compact working areas, such as adjustable computer monitor arms and mobile computer workstations.
Great Ormond Street wanted the new children’s research facility to be as child focused and child friendly as possible. Dr William van’t Hoff, Head of Somers Clinical Research Facility wanted the ‘best equipment we could find for the purpose’. For this reason Colebrook Bosson Saunders’ ergonomically designed computer monitor arms, mobile computer work stations and Loop computer holders were chosen.
The adjustable monitor arms and ergonomic workstations from CBS are suited to the pressured yet flexible working environment that is constantly moving and changing. It is of upmost importance for Great Ormond Street that the fittings and equipment which it uses aid the efficiency of working practice which also compliment a child focused environment.
Great Ormond Street are delighted with the ergonomic and customisable mobile computer workstations , computer monitor arms and Loop CPU holders provided by CBS. The ergonomic products match the modern, clean and child friendly brief which benefits visitors and patients in a modern, cutting edge, child friendly environment.
