Design Prima Winner Audio Visual Assembly Colebrook Bosson Saunders added to their impressive list of product awards at this year's Design Prima at London's Old Billingsgate. The show, which ran from 13th to 15th June, is the showcase UK event for new product innovation in the office interiors market. The show saw the UK launch of Colebrook Bosson Saunders' new Audio Visual Assembly, a complete system of support for large screens and AV hardware. The panel of independent judges were impressed with what they saw and gave it the FX PRIMA award. The award is recognition of design and functional quality of the Audio Visual Assembly, which has already attracted interest from major video conferencing systems suppliers. The Audio Visual Assembly was developed to meet the demanding needs of a wide spectrum of AV markets. Available in wall mounted and free standing versions, it easily supports one or two screens of up to 50" as well as all necessary content delivery hardware. The design makes it ideal for any audio visual application and customisable panels can be used to enhance the design of any interior space.
The Beginning
Martyn's first appointment Colebrook Bosson Saunders' first significant sales was to Cable and Wireless in 1990. Martyn Colebrook was cycling along Holborn Road on his trusty, rusty, bicycle and noticed a building site. The name of the architect was on the hoarding and an appointment was made following a cold call. The delivery vehicle was the same bicycle but unfortunately it was raining on the day so a soggy box full of polystyrene protective chips did not create the best impression. Nevertheless, the architect was sympathetic, and eventually placed a £35,000 order. Colebrook Bosson Saunders haven't looked back since.
