The Beginning

Martyn's first appointment

Colebrook Bosson Saunders' first significant sales was to Cable and Wireless in 1990. Martyn Colebrook was cycling along Holborn Road on his trusty, rusty, bicycle and noticed a building site. The name of the architect was on the hoarding and an appointment was made following a cold call. The delivery vehicle was the same bicycle but unfortunately it was raining on the day so a soggy box full of polystyrene protective chips did not create the best impression. Nevertheless, the architect was sympathetic, and eventually placed a £35,000 order. Colebrook Bosson Saunders haven't looked back since.
The Sunday Times

Lapjack "essential gear for back pain"

Back pain affects four out of five people and constitutes 5% of sick days, as quoted in Ingear - The Sunday Times supplement. For the majority of office workers, spending on average 35 hours per week in a seated position forces the spine into a bad C-curve. As recommended by The Sunday Times, the Lapjack laptop stand can position your laptop computer screen in “the best possible way to maintain good posture”.

The Big Move

Complete Union

The entire UK Colebrook Bosson Saunders team is now housed under one roof in the Union Street head office in London. The company recently acquired additional space and the design and production department is now working from the new premises. The award-winning design team had previously occupied office and workshop space in Battersea, South West London. The larger workshop and design space at Union Street has enabled the expansion of the team and the purchase of new workshop equipment to aid the development of increasingly diverse and complex products.
