Monitor Mount Fixing Options

At CBS we understand that no single fixing solution is right for everybody. That is why we have a range of solution for your monitor mount to suit all requirements. Whether the specification is for monitor desk mount (to fix the monitor to the desk) or to fix to a slatwall or other component, we can assist.

To fix the monitor to a desk:

Firstly, choose a post (they range from 150mm to 700mm)

Then, decide whether you would like the post to fix to the desk through a drill-hole or whether a desk clamp is more suitable, the options are below:

Cast grommet fixing: utilises the hole that is common to many desk tops. The benefit is that the it includes a cutaway for cable management to promote a tidier workstation.

The desk clamp:

popular for avoiding having a hole through the desk and makes for easier move-ability when swapping desks. We can make them to suit most desk thickness and the most popular is the 'up to 38mm'size.

    Through desk fixing:

as simple as it sounds, it is a screw which connects to the post and then through the desktop. It is a more cost effective version of the cast grommet.

To fix to a slatwall, toolbar or just the wall:

Think about the layout of your space to decide which option is best.

The slatwall bracket is good for cubicle workstations and the bracket can be easily lifted off and moved around. The monitor arm fixes directly and securely to the bracket. In the slatwall bracket                                      family we also have a toolbar bracket that fixes to a toolbar,                                     (for our range of toolbars click here) and a wall mount to fix your                                     monitor directly to the wall.

We can also create bespoke fixing solutions known as ‘specials’, talk to us and see how we can help bridge the gap between furniture and your PC monitor mount.
