We are excited to announce that Ollin and Lima monitor arms now have Declare Labels, demonstrating that the products are compliant with the Living Building Challenge. They join Flo, which achieved Declare back in June.

Our award-winning ergonomic monitor arms serve single, dual and multiple screens whilst offering unparalleled individual adjustments.

Declare is an ingredients label for building products and highlights CBS’s commitment to using healthy materials.

This certification, paired with the online database of healthy materials (Lima and Ollin) allows CBS and manufacturers of ecologically sound products to demonstrate market leadership in the growing movement toward product transparency and health in the built environment.

Declare is provided by the non-profit International Living Future Institute. Declare manufacturers screen and submit product materials against multiple chemical of concern lists including the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List.

The LBC Red List contains the worst in class materials prevalent in the building industry that have been shown to

  • Pollute the environment
  • Bio-accumulate up the food chain until they reach toxic concentrations
  • Cause harm through manufacture or use Declare has been approved as a compliance pathway for the LEED v4 and v4.1 Building Product Disclosure and Optimization Credit

Declare products that are “LBC Red List Free” or “LBC Red List Approved”, have been approved as compliance pathways for the International WELL Building Standard v1 Feature 26 for Enhanced Material Safety and WELL v2 Feature X13 Enhanced Material Precaution. These Features takes a precautionary approach to hazards by emphasizing healthy material selection to minimize risks.
